A digital service report (also called work order, job ticket, inspection protocol, service form or damage docs) is an electronic form filled out by drivers or service technicians directly at the stop — instead of on paper. Photo, signature, required fields, conditional logic and analysis run digitally.

Answers can be exported as CSV per order or per period. Through the REST API (Professional+), the data can also flow in real time to your ERP or property-management system — no double entry.

Do the forms work offline?

Today, drivers fill out forms through the mobile-responsive web interface — an internet connection is required. The native driver app with full offline mode is in active development; answers will be stored locally and synced automatically when connection returns.

Who can create forms vs. fill them out?

Dispatchers or admins (role "Manager" or "Admin") create forms in the builder. Drivers (role "Driver") fill them out at the stop. Trailo supports multi-user with roles across every plan.

How long does it take to build a form?

A standard service report with 10–15 fields is built in 15–30 minutes. More complex forms with conditional logic and many follow-up questions take 45–60 minutes. Sample forms in the trial help you start.
