About Trailo

What Trailo is — and why we built it

Trailo is an AI-powered field service management platform for fleets of 5 to 100 vehicles. Developed in Europe, hosted in Frankfurt, GDPR-compliant. Our ambition is to be the easiest route planning tool on the market — one that works without training and without setup days.

Background

How Trailo started

Trailo started with a very concrete problem: planning daily routes for a driver service with several vehicles — quickly, reliably and without juggling spreadsheets. What was available on the market wasn't good enough: too complex, too cluttered, or simply not designed for fleets under one hundred vehicles.

A closer look made it clear that this isn't an isolated problem. From trades and cleaning to pest control, POS marketing and field maintenance, the picture is the same — the ERP and operations systems used in these industries either don't include route planning at all, or include one that gets bypassed in daily practice. That gap is exactly what we close with Trailo.

How we work

Three principles behind Trailo

  • From real-world use, not the drawing board

Every feature starts with an actual workflow problem — not with a function a competitor happens to have. Whatever measurably improves a dispatcher's working day makes it into the product.

  • Fast development, close to users

We develop Trailo in short cycles and take user feedback seriously. Requests from daily practice typically make it into the platform within weeks — no waiting years for the next major release.

  • Built and hosted in Europe

Servers in Frankfurt, GDPR-compliant, clear EU legal framework. No uncontrolled third-country transfers. Currently available in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) — Netherlands and UK coming soon. Platform languages already shipped: German, English, Dutch.

Team

Who is behind Trailo

Trailo is developed by a team in Europe — lean, close to the product, with short paths between user feedback and implementation. That setup is what lets us ship new functionality unusually fast and act on the concrete requests our users bring to us.
